ATR 3113 - Orthopedic Assessment of the Lower Extremities

A classroom study in clinical evaluation of lower body injuries and illnesses commonly sustained by athletes. Emphasis on proper evaluation for the purposes of (1) accurate diagnosis, (2) administering proper first aid and emergency care, and (3) making appropriate referrals to physicians. Material regarding the analysis of gait and posture, and pre-participation examinations is also covered in this course.
