PHR 4774 - Community Pharmacy II4 Credit Hours
This elective rotation is designed to further develop students’ knowledge and mastery of skills related to clinical pharmacy practice in a community setting. Students will be responsible for critically evaluation patients for appropriate pharmacotherapy by reviewing patient profiles and counseling on prescription and nonprescription medications/products. The rotation will continue to expand skills acquired from the community I rotation to perform clinical patient care services including medication therapy management sessions, wellness screening programs, community outreach events, immunization clinics, and point-of-care testing.
