EDU 3083 - Foundations of Research-Based Literacy

Provides practice in the selection and use of methods and materials related to teaching language arts in the primary and elementary school. Each candidate will receive instruction and be assessed on the uniform core curricula in the language arts area during course work and practicum.

Elementary education majors only.

Prerequisite: Pass first screening; EDU 3073 , EDU 1013 , EDU 2001
