PSY 3073 - Psychology Foreign Travel Experience3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides students with an opportunity to examine key figures in the history of psychology within the context of specific periods and geographical locations. The course also introduces students to the contemporary culture and examines how “the spirit of the times” influenced thought, facilitating an understanding of key ideas and their value. The course will include visits to the homes of relevant figures within the field of psychology. In addition to the historical consideration of the lives of individuals who had a profound impact on the field, the student will also get first hand experiential knowledge of the larger history and culture that shaped the thoughts of these individuals.
