BIO 3801 - Human Immunology Laboratory1 Credit Hour(s) This course is designed to allow students the opportunity to use the theories and concepts learned in the Immunology lecture and apply that knowledge in practical, experimental projects. The lab course emphasizes techniques including, but not limited to immunoblotting, SDS-PAGE, PCR and applications, ELISAs, tissue culture, microscopy, precipitations and agglutination reactions, isolation, identification of B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes, and practice problem solving. This course equips the student with the skills to assess molecular and cellular components of the immune system both qualitatively and quantitatively.
