NUR 4353 - Christian Nurses and Alternative Healing Therapies

This course presents concepts and strategies related to alternative healing therapies. The emphasis is on an approach to wellness-which is concerned with the person as a whole-across the lifespan and as defined by the patient. Strategies related to integrating holistic methods of care delivery: emotionally, spiritually, physically, and culturally from an ethical/legal Christian Worldview are presented. This course is a guide to prepare nurses to honor and advocate for patients taking control of their well being.
