PRX 4226 - Association Management – Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience6 Credit Hours This elective rotation introduces students to pharmacy association management. This rotation is designed to further develop the student’s knowledge and understanding of the purpose, roles and responsibilities of pharmacy associations have in the profession of pharmacy. The student will be responsible for the recruitment and retention initiatives of members and developing and designing programs which appeal to both the newly graduated and the highly experienced. The student will develop the skills necessary to effectively interact in a business setting and critically evaluate legislation to determine possible implications to the profession.
Prerequisite: Completion of all first, second and third year pharmacy classes Availability: Fall/Spring/Summer
