PRX 4016 - Medical Writing-Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience

6 Credit Hours

The elective rotation is designed to provide an opportunity for students to develop medical writing skills and be exposed to various responsibilities associated with authorship, peer review and scholarship in pharmacy practice. The student will also gain further insight into career opportunities for pharmacists requiring medical writing skills. This course will take place in a college or school of pharmacy in collaboration with a pharmacy practice faculty’s practice site. The student will be responsible for developing various forms of medical writing products which may include: a formal PowerPoint in-service, drug information questions, hospital newsletter, review article, case report or original research.
