HHP 4213 - Pharmacology in Sports Medicine

Emphasis on legal and illegal drug use associated with athletics and sports medicine. Topics will include an overview of (1) pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, (2) indications, contraindications and effects of commonly used non-prescription and prescription medications, (3) ergonenic aids and the of use of illegal substances.
