PRX 3122 - Case Studies in Pharmacotherapy III

This is the third course in a series of four courses designed to strengthen students’ critical thinking abilities and integrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired within the curriculum in pharmaceutical care across a variety of settings. This is the second problem-based learning (PBL) course in the series that continues the development of students’ medication assessment abilities utilizing the pharmacists patient care process in simulated patient cases. The pharmacy skills lab component of this course focuses on strengthening the medication assessment skills learned in the previous courses in addition to reinforcing additional drug information and communication skills.

Prereq/Corequisite: Must be enrolled in at least one pharmacotherapy course
