THL 8114 - Contemporary Practical Theology

Introduces major works within practical theology worldwide together with an exploration of practical theological method and methodology as they have emerged since the late twentieth century. Relates developments within practical theology to those within the entire theological enterprise and related disciplines. Students will develop a synthesis of contemporary practical theology suitable for work toward the dissertation.
