PHL 5023 - Ethical Theory

3 Credit Hours

Students will survey and assess ethical systems and key ethical figures as understood from a Christian worldview. These include Aristotle, Augustine, Aquinas, Kant, social contrarians, and utilitarians, noting both overlap with and divergence from a robust biblical ethical framework. This course will also explore metaethical and normative issues and offer insights for wise ethical decision-making.
