HSC 5023 - Advanced Pharmacology

This course is designed to provide a foundation in theoretical and scientific knowledge for utilizing pharmacotherapeutics in advanced practice. Course focuses on the major drug classes for physiological systems with indications, therapeutic, and adverse effects in individuals across the life span. Clinical roles, privileges, and responsibilities of prescription practices are emphasized.

Prerequisite: HSC 5013 - Advanced Pathophysiology
