120 Credit Hours

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology (PSY) program is designed to educate students in the content and methods of various sub-specialty areas of scientific psychology and to critically evaluate them from a Christian perspective. The program’s goal is to present the secular and biblical aspects of psychology in an integrative manner.  The program is offered in a classroom format as well as online. 

Major in Psychology Curriculum Requirements

Note: Online course codes begin with an ‘E’ such as ECIS.

General Education Requirements - 42 Credit Hours

Global Studies Requirement: Psychology majors fulfill the General Education Global Studies requirement through major study (PSY 3083 ).

Social Science Requirement: Psychology majors fulfill the General Education Social Science requirement through major study (PSY 2133 ).

Required Psychology Major Courses - 29 Credit Hours

The major courses must be completed at PBA and must be completed in sequence. Please see the Degree Plan below for detailed sequence information.

The delivery of the evening, online, and Orlando psychology curriculum is designed as an accelerated track for our adult student population and is adapted from the traditional day psychology program offered through the School of Education and Behavioral Studies on the main campus.
