120 Credit Hours

The major in Ministry (without a specified concentration) prepares students for the broadest range of ministries, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary for virtually any ministry within a church, parachurch, or non-profit organization. This major is designed for two types of students: (1) for students who are unsure of what ministry they want to pursue, but who do feel called to ministry; (2) for students whose interests go beyond these concentrations. Both of these types of students are encouraged to work with their advisors to choose electives that can be tailored to their unique ministry interests.

General Education Requirements - 43 Credit Hours

Ministry majors must meet the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements  as set out in the General Education Program .

  • Global Studies Requirement: It is strongly recommended that Ministry Majors select ICS 3503 - World Religions  as their Global Studies Elective.

Note:

Students seeking early graduate admissions (EGA) to PBA’s Master of Divinity or M.Div./MBA Degree must meet the required EGA course requirements for the major, as outlined in the Early Graduate Admission: Graduation Requirements (Master of Divinity) . Up to twenty-nine (29) graduate hours can be applied toward the completion of the B.A. degree.
