Program Learning Outcomes

1. Identify basic terms and concepts in Global Development

2. Identify concepts in the management sciences

3. Examine development projects

4. Analyze problems in Global Development

5. Identify problems and analyze solutions

Managerial Competence – at least 9 Credit Hours


Students must successfully complete at least three courses from the following List:

Development Studies - 32 Hours


Students must take all of the following. Bolded Classes now count as MBA core.

  • DEV 5002  Fieldwork Seminar (2 Credit Hours)

  • DEV 5004 (4 Credit Hours) Fieldwork: Students will spend time in a developing nation, working with NGO’s, GO’s and other entities whose mission it is to deliver sustainable aid to the global poor
