Program Learning Outcomes


“Expected student learning outcomes specify the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes students are expected to attain in courses or in a program.” Page 69.   1. Digital Media Content & Techniques: Create meaningful and purposeful digital content projects from concept to delivery using a variety of digital media techniques at a professional level.
  2. Critical Thinking From A Biblical Worldview: Apply critical thinking to cultural and media contexts from a Biblical worldview using digital media tools.
  3. Critical & Analytical Foundation: Develop a critical and analytical foundation that draws on history, theory, and practice of media studies.
  4. Written, Oral, and Visual Communication Skills: Employ written, oral, and visual communication skills to communicate information and ideas in digital media.

General Education Requirements - 43 Credit Hours


Digital Storytelling majors must meet the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements as set out in the General Education Program.

* A minor and 32-33 additional credit hours of coursework are required to meet the 120 total and the 42 upper-division credit hour requirements.
