- Apply critical thinking to cultural and journalistic contexts from a Biblical worldview.
- Demonstrate the fundamental skills needed to succeed in various news media, including print, broadcast and online platforms.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively and ethically design, express, interpret and evaluate convergent media/journalism in a variety of social and cultural contexts.
Graduation Requirements
Conferral of a Baccalaureate degree in this program of study is determined by successful completion of the Baccalaureate Graduation Requirements outlined here .
NOTE: Students must earn 42 upper level (3000-4000) credit hours in order to graduate. A total of at least 21 of these upper level credit hours must be completed in the selected major.

Journalism Lab: 4-8 Credit Hours
Note:
All Journalism majors must enroll in and successfully complete JRN 3061 - Journalism Lab in each semester beginning upon declaration of their major. This lab may be repeated for a total of 8 credit hours.
Additional Required Credit Hours - 33-37 Credit Hours
These additional hours may be fulfilled by a minor, second major, general electives taken concurrently, previous coursework taken at PBA or through transfer credits.
