NUR 8103 - Caring for Aging Societies3 Credit Hours This course is designed to understand the needs of the older adult. The course will explore principles and concepts of aging in diverse societies along with examining chronic diseases and evidenced-based practice implications. Emphasis will be on health interventions to improve quality of life, psychosocial function and independence. Leadership roles in implementing models and creating change for the aging population are incorporated.
Prerequisite: NUR 5123 Availability: Summer, Spring
