LDR 5014 - Foundations of Leadership Development4 Credit Hours The course entails a comprehensive examination of the history and process of leadership development as it is practiced in various organizations. The course explores the goals, objectives, and strategies for the leadership development function, as well as the dilemmas that all leadership development practitioners face. During the course the learners will study the research literature of the field and engage in case studies of leadership development interventions and analyze various situations facing leadership development practitioners. Students will analyze leadership needs in organizational situations and develop proposed solutions.
