PHR 4724 - Community Pharmacy I4 Credit Hours This required rotation is designed to provide an opportunity for students to apply knowledge and skills acquired through didactic education and introductory pharmacy practice experiences to patient care in a community pharmacy setting. Students will actively participate in dispensing functions and patient care services to critically evaluate patients for appropriate pharmacotherapy. Students will be responsible for reviewing patient profiles, monitoring medication safety and efficacy, counseling patients on both prescription and nonprescription medications, and communicating his/her recommendations to health care providers.
Prerequisite: Completion of all first, second and third year pharmacy classes
