PHR 4524 - Advanced Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Research I4 Credit Hours This elective is the first part of a two-part series that introduces students to pharmacy practice in a biomedical and pharmaceutical science research setting. It is designed to enhance the student’s understanding of fundamental concepts in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences. Students will further develop their skills in integrating physiological, chemical and biochemical information pertaining to drug development and design. The student will have the ability to obtain, interpret and apply information to formulate solutions to research problems and issues in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences as it relates to drug development and design.
Prerequisite: Completion of all first, second and third year pharmacy classes
