ORL 3233 - Contemporary Issues in Leadership

3 Credit Hours (Elective)

Provides students with an understanding of the issues affecting leadership today, why these issues create stress in people, and practical solutions for use on the job to help overcome the stress. Some of the issues studied are reduced supervision; team culture; quality focus; downsizing; mergers and acquisitions; globalization; and innovative pay strategies.
