BIO 3403 - Comparative Animal Physiology3 Credit Hour(s) Comparison of the mechanisms used by the various animal phyla to deal with nutrition and metabolism, gas exchange and transport, excretion, ionic and osmotic balance, temperature regulation, reception of stimuli, biological clocks, and neural versus hormonal control.
Prerequisite: C- or above in BIO 3003 or permission of instructor. Corequisite: BIO 3003 and/or BIO 4223
