PRX 4266 - Institutional Clinical Management and Pharmacy Administration - Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience

This elective rotation is designed to introduce students to administrative and clinical management pharmacy practice and provide an opportunity to apply knowledge and skills acquired through didactic education and introductory pharmacy practice experiences. The student will learn various aspects related to pharmacy administration and clinical pharmacy management such as management and development of personnel, pharmacy finance, quality management of workflow systems, and development of clinical management documents and execution of clinical programs. This rotation will take place in a hospital pharmacy.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of first, second and third year didactic pharmacy education, including end-of-year (EOY) exam and remediation, if applicable. Successful completion of Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE).
