EDU 4393 - Practicum in Reading

Field-based course that focuses on the principles and practices of effective reading instruction. Students will apply research-based instructional strategies and techniques for reading, will reflect on the outcomes of these strategies and techniques, and will develop a reading portfolio to document growth and development in the area of reading instruction. Designed to meet Florida Reading Endorsement Competency 6: Demonstration of Accomplishment.

Prerequisite: Pass Second Screening; complete all required education course work, except for Residency I - Student Teaching and Residency II - Teaching Fellow.
