COU 5123 - Legal, Ethical, and Professional Standards

This course is designed to provide an overview of the legal and ethical issues related to the provision of counseling and therapy services in a variety of settings. Special emphasis is given to a review of Florida Statutes regulating the practice of counseling and therapy as well as the ethical codes of major professional organizations related to counseling.
