THL 5000 - Introduction to Theological Research

Students in this course will have the opportunity to develop in their understanding of graduate-level research, with specific attention to academic writing, theological research and citation methods, integrating sources, understanding and avoiding plagiarism. Along the way, students will be learning to “think theologically” about various topics and issues they encounter both in academic study and in the practice of ministry. Finally, students will be learning how to integrate the practices of spiritual formation into theological education and research.
