FYE 1001 - First Year Experience1 Credit Hour(s) The First Year Seminar introduces students to the philosophy and value of a Christian Liberal Arts education. In harmony with the Faith, Roots, and Reason (General Education) Learning outcomes of the University, the First Year Experience lays a foundation for successful transition to college by providing students with the opportunity to acquire essential skills that will enhance social and academic integration into college. This is accomplished by investigation and practice of specific academic skills, inquiry into life skills necessary for citizenship in any diverse community, and introduction to the history, traditions, and current campus life at PBA. This is a one-credit required course of the Faith, Roots, and Reason (General Education) curriculum.
