PRX 1143 - Introduction to Professionalism and Communication in Pharmacy Practice

This course examines the principles of effective communication with a particular focus on professional interactions. Students learn techniques, skills, and strategies that can be used by pharmacists to enhance communication with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. This course will foster and develop the skills, behaviors and attitudes of a pharmacy professional with emphasis placed on skills that develop and maintain constructive interactions in a variety of pharmacy practice settings.
