Ministry Leadership Studies

The major in Ministry Leadership Studies equips students with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary for ministry within a church, parachurch or non-profit organization. The major seeks to provide students with training in ministry skills, organization and administration, and the nurture and care of people within a broad ministry context. Since ministry has become increasingly diverse, this major offers a concentration which students with interest and calling to Pastoral Ministries may select, and course options include electives that students can tailor to their unique ministry interests.

While many students completing this major will pursue graduate or seminary education, others may utilize their training upon graduation to serve in various capacities on the staff of a church, parachurch or non-profit organization: student ministries, administrative positions, adult ministries, pastoral ministries, worship ministries, social ministries, etc.
