The Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) specialization offers working professionals the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree and the courses necessary to become an effective preschool teacher, or to move into a leadership position in early childcare and management. This concentration does not fulfill the requirements for Head Start certification. In addition, EEDU 4394 will complete the classroom requirements for the Director’s Credentials.

EEDU 3224 - Introduction to Pre-Primary Early Childhood Education 4 Credit Hours
EEDU 3234 - Model Programs in Early Childhood Curriculum 4 Credit Hours
EEDU 4374 - Teaching the Young Pre-Primary Exceptional Child 4 Credit Hours
EEDU 4384 - Classroom Management and Guidance for the Preschool Child 4 Credit Hours
