Degree Prerequisite Courses - 30 Credit Hours
Students should hold a BA or BS in Computer Science or Information Science. Students may also hold a bacccalaureate degree in a closely related field, with program chair permission. Applicants are expected to have taken and successfully passed the following prerequisite courses (or equivalents) before entering the program. Conditional admission may be granted subject to completion of these courses (3 credits per course). CSC 2203 Programming I CSC 2303 Programming II CSC 3003 Programming III CSC 2403 Algorithm Design and Analysis CSC 2603 Database Systems CSC 3103 Computer Organization CSC 3403 Introduction to Operating Systems Core Courses (27 Credits)
