Students are required to complete the following courses (total of 36 hours), including either a thesis in an area of concentration or a comprehensive exam.

A least nine credit hours of electives must come from graduate courses offered within the School of Ministry (Note: the ministry apprenticeship courses are not allowed to fulfill any MACS degree requirements).

Comprehensive Examination

MACS students must register for and successfully complete a Comprehensive Examination (THL 6000 ) in their final semester of study. Students who successfully complete a Master’s Thesis, however, fulfill this requirement.
