Communication majors must meet the Faith, Roots, and Reason (General Education) Requirements as set out in Faith, Roots, and Reason Program . - Fine Art Recommendation: Communication majors are well advised to take THE 2212 - Theatre Appreciation , CIN 1002 - Television Appreciation , or CIN 1202 - Film Appreciation to fulfill the Fine Arts requirement of the Faith, Roots, and Reason (General Education) program.
- Social Science Recommendation: Communication majors are strongly recommended to take COM 3573 - Communication Research Methods to fulfill the Social Science requirement of the Faith, Roots, and Reason (General Education) program.
- Global Studies Recommendation: Communication majors are strongly recommended to take COM 3523 - Global Digital Media Ethics to fulfill the Global Studies requirement of the Faith, Roots, and Reason (General Education) program. Communication majors with a concentration that includes one of the Global Studies courses are required to select a separate course from the Faith, Roots & Reason (General Education) list to meet this requirement. Consult with your advisor regarding the best way to handle this requirement.
