CSC 2253 - Discrete Structures3 Credit Hour(s) This course introduces elementary concepts of discrete mathematics that are necessary to understand the science of computing. Topics include functions and set theory, basic logic, proof techniques, counting principles, graph theory, and discrete probabilities.
Prerequisite: MAT 1853 College Algebra with a grade of at least C-, or four years of college preparatory mathematics with at least a B average. Availability: Fall/Spring Crosslisted as: MAT 2253
