EDU 4303 - ESOL Methods, Curriculum, & Assessment3 Credit Hour(s) Provides in-depth instruction and practice in the selection and use of materials and methods related to teaching ESOL/LEP students. Emphasis will be placed on teaching the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, ESOL in the content areas, curriculum development, and major methodologies and current trends in ESOL teaching and assessment. Includes components of the first two competencies of the Reading Endorsement. 16 Hours of Practicum required. For elementary education and secondary English education majors only.
Prerequisite: EDU 1013 , EDU 2303 , EDU 2313 , pass first screening Corequisite: EDU 3083 ,EDU 4073 Availability: Fall/Spring
