PHL 2003 - Creative Thinking and Effective Reasoning3 Credit Hour(s) This course aims to satisfy the need for thinking skillfully in today’s world. Our interactive and information laden world is also a fallacy rich environment. This course enables students to empower their critical thinking about the moral, legal, religious, political, and scientific discussions that surround them. However, not all thinking is critical. Therefore, this course also includes a treatment of creative thinking. Students will explore the art of expanding possibility; students will learn to think more freely and imaginatively about how the world could be. This class requires a service learning project typically completed on the MLK Day holiday. Successful projects will count for twelve hours of the Workship requirement.
