HIS 4153 - Renaissance & Reformation3 Credit Hour(s) A study of the artistic, cultural, political, religious and intellectual life of the Italian and Northern Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation. Similarities and differences between the Italian and Northern Renaissance will be considered as well as the impact of the Renaissance on the Reformation. Attention will be given to conditions leading up to the Renaissance and the age of reform as well as the subsequent impact of the era on European history.
