NUR 2004 - Fundamentals of Nursing Theory4 Credit Hour(s) This course applies prior knowledge from the liberal arts, sciences, and humanities to basic nursing concepts. These concepts and the nursing process are applied to promote wellness across the lifespan, although emphasis is placed on the theoretical components for the older adult population. This course will provide the student with the foundation necessary to provide safe, patient-centered care as part of the healthcare team. Critical thinking is developed as a component in decision-making in the provision of culturally sensitive patient care.
