PRX 3881 - Cultural Considerations in the Care of Spanish-Speaking Patients

This course is designed to help students develop a deeper understanding for the cultural diversity among Spanish-speaking patients in order to provide enhanced healthcare. Students will research and complete activities in order to develop an understand for the origin of Spanish-speaking countries, familial dynamics, societal dynamics, perception of healthcare, common diet, and celebrations and festivities. This course will encompass various forms of interactive activities for a more in-depth learning.
