PRX 3883 - Medical Spanish in Pharmacy I

This is the first course in a two course series designed to improve pharmacy students’ Spanish-speaking level from “intermediate proficiency” to “professional working proficiency”. This course will train students to communicate with patients in various modes such as speaking, writing, and listening in order to ensure students will be able to effectively communicate with patients in a Spanish-speaking community. Additionally, students will learn to use the pharmacists’ patient care process in Spanish.

Prerequisite: Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in the Spanish language
