CTC 5513 - Trauma and Theology3 Credit Hours This course is designed to explore the intersection of trauma and theology. The course aims to familiarize students with the psychological and emotional dimensions of the lived reality of trauma and to critically engage how trauma functions as an interpretive category for theological interpretation. (Special attention is given to how central theological doctrines and ecclesial practices as they interact with the lived reality of trauma: Christology, soteriology, ecclesiology, resurrection, eucharist/communion, baptism, etc.)
