PAS 6044 - Surgical Medicine

4 Credit Hours

The month-long Surgical Medicine Supervised Clinical Practice Experience (SCPE) will enable students to meet program expectations and acquire the competencies needed for clinical PA practice, relative to surgical medicine, under the guidance and direction of a clinical preceptor. SCPE encounters will include pre-, intra-, and post-operative care related to acute, chronic, and preventive surgical needs associated with adolescent, adult, and elderly/geriatric patients.
