PAS 6064 - Women’s Health Medicine

4 Credit Hours

The month-long Women’s Health Medicine Supervised Clinical Practice Experience (SCPE) will enable students to meet program expectations and acquire the competencies needed for clinical PA practice, relative to women’s health medicine, under the guidance and direction of a clinical preceptor. SCPE encounters will include patient care related to acute, chronic, and preventive medical needs associated with adolescent, adult, and elderly/geriatric gynecologic patients, and prenatal, intrapartum, and post-partum care.
