BUS 5723 - Econometrics & Data Science

3 Credit Hours

Topics discussed in the course include simple linear regression models, least squares estimation, hypothesis testing, multicollinearity, non-spherical errors, and dummy independent variables. Students will complete an original research project that constructs and applies appropriate econometric techniques to address economic questions. Students will also construct and evaluate forecasting models. Course is cross-listed as ECO 4013.

Prerequisite: ECO 2353, ECO 2343, MAT 2003
