CSC 4413 - Computer Networking & Security3 Credit Hour(s) Introduces computer and network security concepts and considerations. Discussion of internal and external processes required in secure systems including application and data reliability. Topics will include security policies, models and mechanisms for confidentiality, integrity and availability, access control, authorization, cryptography and applications, threats and vulnerabilities in computer networks, key management, firewalls and security services in computer networks.
Prerequisite: CSC 3103 (C- or better) Availability: WPB: Spring
