DAN 2021 - Dance in Worship

This course is designed to give students the knowledge and experience of spiritual dance, dance specifically focused on worshiping and glorifying God. Students will prayerfully seek God’s will for their lives and examine their hearts and motives for dancing. Students will learn, create, and perform various kinds of worship-focused dance throughout the semester with the goal of leading corporate worship. Classes will include prayer, meditation on scripture, dance improvisation, various dance technique warm-ups, and the instructor’s style of dance liturgy.
