NUR 4202 - Pediatric Nursing Theory

This course applies nursing theory and critical thinking to the care of children from birth through adolescence. Health promotion and optimal patient wellness are explored, with a focus on managing common pediatric health issues. Quality improvement concepts and the nursing process are utilized to develop culturally competent nursing actions that promote optimal wellness for pediatric patients.

Prerequisite: NUR 3043, NUR 3233, NUR 3242, NUR 3403, and NUR 3412
