General Education Recommendations

Fine Arts Requirement: Cinema-Television majors must take THE 2212 - Theatre Appreciation in order to fulfill the Fine Arts requirement.
Global Studies Requirement: Cinema-Television majors must take JEM 3123 - International Cinema to fulfill the Global Studies requirement.
Social Science Requirement: Cinema-Television majors should carefully consider taking COM 3563 - Introduction to Communication Research to fulfill the Social Science requirement.

Required School of Communication and Media Courses - 9 Credit Hours

Production Labs - 5-6 Credit Hours

All Cinema-Television majors must enroll in and successfully complete JEM 3021 - Cinema-Television Production Lab in each semester their freshman year through their junior year. Students admitted to the Cinema-Television major after the start of the first semester of their freshman year must enroll in and successfully complete this lab in each subsequent semester upon declaration of their major through their junior year. This lab may be repeated for a total of 6 credit hours.
